Project Description:

Responding to an existing and expanding slope failure on the subject property, SEC designed, permitted and constructed a retention wall, compacted imported fill with Geogrid reinforcement and re-graded the failed slope to assure that threatened residence structure was not imminently undermined.

The slope failure encompassed approximately 2,000 sq. ft. and required the construction of a 60’ long, 8’-20’ high hand-sculpted shotcrete retention wall. The wall was secured for retention purposes utilizing 3 rows of multi-strand anchors, extending 51’ to 61’ into the slope. Compacted backfill was placed to reconstruct the slope after completion of the retention wall, with remaining disturbed failure materials being removed from the site. SEC re-routed upland drainage and installed sub-drains on the repaired slope.

  • Slope Failure Repair

  • Visible Retention Wall Coverage: Approx. 900 sq. ft.

  • 21 Drilled Tiebacks / Multi-Strand Anchors

  • Double Corrosion Protected (DCP) Reinforcement

  • Hand-Sculpted / Color Treated Shotcrete Finish
