Soil Engineering Construction, Inc. has performed shoring projects all over California since the company was founded in 1971. A typical job would involve shoring the sides of an excavation for a building or other structure. Most commonly, there is a soil investigation report defining soil conditions. From that, S.E.C. develops a shoring plan and project costs for the work. Provided the proposed costs are acceptable with the client, S.E.C. then proceeds with the engineering design to produce the plans necessary for the construction. We then perform the implementation of the shoring on site with our experience crews. 

In the past, we have worked on shoring for projects in which we are the general contractor, as well as subcontracted as a shoring contractor for other projects managed by other firms. Our firm is highly skilled in using a wide array of equipment to provide shoring and structural support during excavation. Sometimes, shoring can be accomplished with pressure treated wood lagging, but when it comes to more complex projects, other tools may be required to ensure safety and stability.
